Der russische Machthaber will überhaupt nicht verhandeln

von

Gewisse politische Kräfte in Deutschland ignorieren weiterhin beharrlich, dass der russische Machthaber einfach nicht verhandeln will. Dies ignorieren sie bis zur Selbstverleugnung und postulieren mantraartig, dass man doch verhandeln müsse. (Mit wem eigentlich, wo doch keiner verhandeln will?)

Ignorant ist ein solches Verhalten, bestenfalls.

Denn aus Putins Sicht dürfte es ganz gut laufen. Er braucht den russischen Angriffskrieg nämlich, um selbst an der Macht zu bleiben. Und er hat ja alles unternommen, um die russische Gesellschaft medial zu isolieren und auf Krieg zu trimmen. Auch die russische Industrie wurde auf Kriegswirtschaft umgestellt. Weshalb sollte er das denn jetzt auf einmal ändern wollen, wo es doch für ihn gut läuft?

    If Russia were to dominate Eastern Europe again, would they settle for that? They kept talking about the Russian World from Vladivostok to Dublin. They didn’t specify the hemisphere. 🙂 Maybe around the poles. Maybe on both hemispheres🙂. It remained a mystery. Will the Germans learn Russian? 😀 They had forced those from the DDR. I did Russian from the first grades.🙂

    Russia has indeed become a great danger, not only for Ukraine, but for the EU countries as well. and generally for the rules-based world order.

    The politicians seemed very calm, like before the last world war. I have only just listened to Donald Tusk declaring that they are in pre-war, Macron, Britain. Are there not enough in Germany who know what Russian rule means? Don’t you remember the economic difference between FRG and GDR?

    There are certainly some people in Germany who have understood the seriousness of the situation. But many are simply hiding and acting as if it isn’t all that dramatic. Overall, society has understood this to a certain extent. But strangely enough, German politics is still not reacting enough to it. Much more should be invested in national defense, and above all, more quickly. And national defense should be strengthened in the long term. Things aren’t going as smoothly in Germany as they should.

    How many millions of inhabitants did East Germany have? They can’t all have forgotten.

    I think most people in Germany have now realized that the Russian dictatorship also represents a great danger for all countries in Europe. But politicians in Germany, especially the Chancellor, should certainly communicate this more clearly.
